My grandfather, Matthew Giordano, used to sit in the corner after lunch on Sunday and play his heart out on his mandolin. I grew up hearing old italian folk songs and hymns. So when I became a luthier, the Venetian Mandolin was given. This one was designed and built entirely from scratch.
